Hey ! This is Kaoru
(kuh-roo, she/her/hers).
It is my belief that good technology cannot be borne
without an emphasis in good design. I create software
with the human experience at the top of my mind —
I care a lot about the quality of my work, whether
demonstrated through beautiful code or interactions that bring joy.
I love incorporating artistic elements to my work,
rapid prototyping, and building from the ground up
with a variety of tools.
I graduated from the
University of Michigan,
where I was a student in Computer Science and Art + Design.
